Interior reconstruction of the PPF Bank client centre in the historical building of the New Town Hall in the very heart of Prague. The design sensitively combines the character and prestige of the historical building with contemporary requirements for the bank’s operation, security and technology. The project includes layout changes and a new concept for the client zones, tellers and meeting rooms. These are inserted into the generous open space as distinctive enclosed metal boxes, a contemporary architectural element in contrast to the historical character of the interior. The dialogue between the original architecture and the new, clearly legible interventions creates a distinctive and representative space that connects the historical value of the building with a modern way of using it.
